Dr Joanne Butterfield General Practitioner
Dr Joanne Butterfield graduated from St Bartholomew’s & The Royal London Medical School in the UK. She has been practising in Australia since 2006 and on the Sunshine Coast since 2013. Dr Butterfield holds a fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a Diploma of Child Health, and has a background in rural and Emergency Medicine before becoming a GP. Dr Butterfield is committed to helping you achieve health and well-being throughout all stages of life. Dr John Lyon General Practitioner
Dr John Lyon relocated to Noosaville in 2015 after more than 20 years as a GP partner in West Coast Scotland, with a portfolio that included senior NHS management, occupational health and work as a speciality doctor in dermatology. Dr Lyon now splits his time between Noosaville and service as a Reserve Medical Officer in the Royal Australian Navy. He is an accredited GP Supervisor, with interests beyond family medicine in minor surgery, women’s health (including IUD insertion), dermatology, and the Choosing Wisely campaign. Dr Lyon is qualified in both aviation medicine and dive medicals.
Dr Maud Cazot General Practitioner
Dr Maud Cazot graduated from Griffith University and relocated with her family to the Sunshine Coast in 2013. Her special interests include women’s health and antenatal care, paediatrics, chronic disease management, and minor surgery. Dr Cazot is fluent in English and French.

Dr Mark Wright FRACGP is a General Practitioner who has varied experience in general medicine, emergency medicine, and minor surgery. Dr Wright previously served over 30 years with the Australian Defence Force both domestically and internationally. His special interests include veteran’s health, children’s health, emergency medicine, minor surgery, and skin cancer medicine.
Dr Malika Loeckx General Practitioner
Dr Malika Loeckx graduated from medical school in Belgium in 2001. After completing her post graduate training in General Practice, she worked in the UK for two years before migrating to Australia. Dr Loeckx has been working as a GP in Gympie since 2006 and enjoys all aspects of general practice especially women’s health, children’s health, and chronic disease management. When not working, she enjoys spending time outside with her two boys and labrador retriever.

Erica Poxleitner Accredited Exercise Physiologist
Erica Poxleitner is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) with a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology – Rehabilitation from CSU. Erica specialises in the delivery of exercise interventions and lifestyle programs for healthy individuals and those with a broad range of chronic conditions. She is currently the provider of the My Health for Life program in the Noosa region, facilitating groups on ‘how to’ set realistic health goals to support healthy lifestyle changes. Her interests include functional movement screening, behavioural change strategies, women’s health and helping her clients feel inspired with the support from therapy dog in training – Wally.
